     The National Tongan American Society of Utah serves the needs of Tongans as well as Pacific Islanders with immigration, education, health, arts, culture, and human services. Our goal is to provide services to further educational, occupational and citizenship excellence. We aim to provide opportunities for the advancement of Tongan American citizens. Through local and international advocacy we strive to perpetuate cultural values and esteem values of both cultural identities. Formed in 1995, the National Tongan American Society is a non-profit organization, which now has close to 250 members. We have expanded our influences to our homeland, the Kingdom of Tonga in an attempt to coordinate projects that facilitate greater communication between countries.
