Players Visa's to Australia Rejected!

Ben Hur Kivalu, Kisi Pulu, Viliami Maasi, Sione Tu'amoheloa, and Viliami Vaaki are just some of the big names in the Ikale Tahi squad that has been rejected a Visa to Australia.
This has all stemmed from the mass defection of the Vava'u Rugby team that recently toured New Zealand. The Ikale Tahi management are franticly working around the clock to ensure that
These players board the flight from Tonga to Sydney following the government reception to be held in Nuku'ualofa on Wednesday the 1st of October. The Ikale Tahi Team is booked to leave
Tonga on Thursday 2nd, of October, en route to Canberra via Sydney.

This would be a huge blow for the Ikale Tahi as they have prepared well with these guys who are more then likely be named in the starting line for the first game against Italy.

The consequences of the defection of the Vava'u rugby players have now been realised, with the National Team in kaos due to the Australian immigration department's suspicion that the same thing may happen with some of the players holding Tongan passports who are in the squad. Ironically, all the players selected from Tonga have received visas while the players concerned Ben Hur Kivalu is currently contracted in Japan and reside there, Viliami Maasi in England, Viliami Vaki in Italy, Kilis Pulu in Auckland and Sione Taumoheloa in North Harbour.

Australia is not in Tonga's Pool so the theory that they are trying to deliberately weaken the team has been eliminated!
